Early Action Application Submission Deadline
All application materials must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST
Selected participants must confirm acceptance
Welcome orientation and program start (10-week program)
Currently enrolled undergraduate student at a U.S. college or university.
U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident (green card holder).
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and good academic standing at home institution.
Completed coursework in mathematics (calculus), physics, computer science, or engineering. Programming experience preferred but not required.
Complete the NSF ETAP application system
From all colleges/universities attended
2-page essay describing research interests and goals
Two letters from faculty or research mentors
Academic and research experience summary
Comprehensive support for your research experience
Research stipend for 10 weeks
Round-trip travel to Miami, FL

Choose recommenders who know your academic work well and can speak to your research potential.
